THE ISLAND Reggae Club

Reggae-club "THE ISLAND" is the only Moscow venue levicated to the African Roots and Reggae music. The club was started by a Senegaleese student Basse (on the foto (right) with Guera) in 1994 and is now taken care of by his compatriots: Jah Lion, Ras Nama and others. It has remained under reconstruction for thae past year, all of us impassionatly waiting for it to open its doors again, which it will in the first decade of May. As usual there will be plenty of live music on a special date (aroundf 11-th of May) commemorating the passing away of Robert Nesta Marley.
